During Family Time with a pony Do you have a pony all to yourself for 30 minutes? Together with your brothers and sisters, you can care for, brush, and decorate the pony. Children up to 12 years old can also go for a short ride. Mom and Dad will join to help and guide. Of course, you'll finish with a fun photo of the whole family together with the pony.

Do you want to explore the forest from the back of a pony and are you between 7 and 12 years old? During this activity, we will go for a 30-minute ride through the forest behind the park. You don't need any experience as a parent/guardian will always walk next to the pony.

Want to learn to ride a pony? During this activity, you will learn the basics in a fun and safe way. You will learn to steer yourself, make the pony stop, and calmly walk again.

We ask Dad or Mom to come along to the ranch so they can help and guide. At the end, the children receive a fun keychain of the pony they rode on.

Howdy cowboys and cowgirls! Do you want to learn to ride like a real cowboy? During this cowboy riding lesson, pony riding gets a cool theme. Riding with one hand, herding cows, and driving them back to the pasture..

The cuddly cows have escaped and it's up to you to bring them back. Together with your pony, you'll head out across the prairie and safely herd the cows back to the pasture.

Vaulting is doing tricks on the back of a horse! Do you want to try it?

Learning tricks on Olaf's back. This is a fun activity even for the advanced rider. In a group of max 8 children, we rotate through various exercises. Variation in difficulty.

Het Land van Bartje is located on the Hondsrug, a large area with special places and remnants from the Ice Age. Our employees can tell you about the area and show you these special places. Join this beautiful tour and discover the surroundings of our park.

30 minutes, through the forest in good weather, through the park in bad weather. €7.50

One employee is a coachman, and the other is a groom. The groom also handles guest contact.

0 to 2 years, drop-in with parental guidance

This activity is specially designed for the little ones. During Toddler Pony Time, children aged 0 to 2 years will get to know a pony in a calm way. Under the guidance of parents or guardians and a staff member, it is possible to take a short ride.

Up to 12 years old, 100 children, partially with guidance

Visit the pony ranch to meet the ponies! During this morning activity, you'll be introduced to various pony ranch activities in a fun way. This includes a short pony ride, a wagon ride, grooming and decorating a pony, and to finish, nail horseshoe tossing like a real cowboy.

This introduction takes place the day after arrival, so you can take your time exploring everything there is to do.

This activity is drop-in, over a period of a few hours.
